GILL: GERTRUDE (NEE) CUPID fondly called Granny, and formerly of 72A Panka Street, St. James died peacefully on Sunday October 8th, 2017 at the age of 95, at the P.O.S.G.H. at 10:30 a.m.
She was the widow of Egbert Gill, and will be lovingly remembered as the Mother of Annette Robinson (nee) Gill, Grandmother of Ayesha Robinson, and Great Grandmother of Nyla and Zhalen.
She was the Sister of Eric Cupid, and predeceased by siblings Hilton, Princess, Charles, John, Benjamin, Marie, Rupert and Mildred.
She was the Aunt of Zita Theodore, Lingston Cumberbatch (deceased), Rudolph (Bunty) Cumberbatch, James Cupid, Patricia Nimblette, Marie Bethelmy, Jacqueline Cupid-Woode, Marcia Cupid, Annette & Allison Leshmore, Eileen Cupid, Ermine Cupid-Hastings and many others.
She was the Great Aunt of Sandra Lee Soy, Steve Theodore, Nuala and Christopher Cumberbatch and many others.
The funeral service for the late Gertrude Gill will take place on Saturday 21st October at 10:00 a.m. at Tranquility Methodist Church ,Tragarete Road, thence to the St. James Crematorium.
