HARPER, RITA RUBINA, 96, originally from Chinapoo Village, Morvant, died peacefully on Friday, September 15, 2017. Daughter of Frederick Albert and Josephine Harper (both deceased). Sister of May, Theresa Callendar, Anne Wilson, Neville (all deceased) and Christina Albuquerque. Sister-in-law of William Callendar and Oswald Wilson (both deceased). Aunt of the Callendars – Maria (deceased), Joy (deceased), Karl, Michael, Arnold, Carol, Russel, Jilleanne, Ken; the Wilsons – Brian, Joanne, Paul, Michelle, Maria, Fulton, Jacinta, Richard, Francis, Ingrid, Rachel, Kisha; and the Albuquerques – Peter, John, Ana, Linda and Monique. Great aunt of Leneika, Lisa-Marie and many more. Relative of the Rimples, De Leons and others. She was a former employee of Angostura and as a devoted parishioner of St. Dominic’s R.C. Church, Morvant, became the first female member of The St Dominic’s St. Vincent de Paul (SVP) Conference. She was also a member of The Golden Girls Catholic Group.
The funeral of Rita Rubina Harper will take place on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 from Our Lady of Lourdes Chapel, Tacarigua at 11:00am thence to the Lapeyrouse Cemetery. A collection will be taken up for the St. Vincent De Paul Society.
