I am so sad to learn of Zalikas passing
I’ve been thinking of her most recently and remember her fondly when she billeted me as the Twinning Queen from st Catharine’s now well over 40 years ago

I remember sitting in her kitchen as she fed us roti , her smile , her laughter was infectious, later when she visited us in Niagara she attended both my sister & brothers weddings . My parents adored her and we continued to stay in touch But sadly we stopped . I wish I could connect with her children I remember Ahmed & Yasmine
Somewhere we have photos with my parents who too have passed in 2018 & 2022. My sincerest condolences to the entire family , how lucky we were to know her & come to love her & her spirit for living . Rosanne Garisto
