MRS RUBY MOORE, also known as Tanty Ruby, Ada, Nennie and Mother Moore, of Isaac Terrace, Bournes Road, St James, died on April 10th, 2017 at age 99 years. She was the daughter of the late Dorothy Aberdeen, wife of the late Egbert Moore and sister of Winnifred and Victoria both deceased. She was the aunt of Knolly Phillip, Desmond Phillip, Hubert Phillip, Carlton Phillip, Patsy Mc Kenzie of Trinidad and Tobago, Dennis Headley, Elton Adams, Lloyd Fields of the USA, and godmother of many. She was a close friend of the Roberts, the Gittens, the Hopes and the Antoines. She was also a long-standing member of the Mount Hope Spiritual Baptist Church at Fort George Road and of Christ’s Redeemed Spiritual Baptist Church at Sparrow Drive, Simeon Road Petit Valley.

The homegoing service for the late Ruby Moore will be held at the Clark and Battoo Chapel, Tragarete Road, Port of Spain at 10.00 am on Saturday 22nd April, 2017, followed by interment at the Western Cemetery, St James.
