NUNES: George Thomas, 74 passed away on September 4, 2018. George was born on December 21, 1943 to Manuel and Ernestine Nunes, both deceased. He was the husband of Marcia Nunes (dec’d). Father of Sheldon and Candace Nunes (both dec’d). George is survived by his brothers Peter and Ricardo Nunes, his sisters Joan Chase, Patricia Oostdyk and Glenda James. George is preceded in death by his brothers, Manuel (Sonny), Ernest and Albert Nunes. He was brother-in-law to Albert Chase (dec’d), Jim Oostdyk, Jean (dec’d), Ruth, (dec’d), Janice (dec’d) and Patricia, and an Uncle and Great Uncle to many. The Funeral Service will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday 12th September, 2018 at Church of the Assumption, Long Circular Road, Maraval, interment Woodbrook Cemetery, Mucurapo.
