Salma “Sally” Marquez (née George), age 97, passed away peacefully at her home on December 25th 2023. She was the beloved wife of Noble Marquez (deceased). Cherished mother of Theron Marquez. Mother-in-law of Michelle. Grandmother of Noble, Hannah and Ashley. Great-grandmother of Hunter. She was the daughter of Abdelha (deceased) and Jamily (deceased). Sister of Badra Rigby (deceased). Aunt of Angela (Michael) (deceased), Hissin (Ken), Romeo, Richard (deceased), Nicky (Ian), Solomon (Patsy) and Yasmin. Loving great-aunt of Nigel, Christopher, Noble, Suzie, Sharon, Julian, Natalie, Candace, Brendon, Colin, Damian, Giselle, Jason, Renee, Tanya, Nicole, Vanessa and Dominic. Dear friend of Hannah Janoura. The funeral service for the late Salma Marquez will be held on Wednesday 3rd January 2024 at 9:00 a.m. at Church of the Assumption, Maraval, and thence to Lapeyrouse Cemetery, Phillip Street, Port-of-Spain. A collection will be taken in aid of her favourite charity, Living Water Community.
