To the family of Mrs. Nita James please accept my condolences on the death of your loved one. Through this difficult time the Holy Scriptures can provide comfort for the family. At Isaiah 25:8 it says " He (God) will swallow up death forever, And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces. " This Scripture is assuring us that in the near future death will be a thing of the past so there will be no need for tears of sorrow but instead there will be tears of joy. At Acts 24:15 it says " There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and unrighteous. " In the mean time Psalms 34:18 promises " Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit. So true is this promise...Eccl. 3:11 "He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has even put eternity in their heart" We do not wish to die nor do we want others to and so God's promise of life eternal appeals to all of us. Ps 37:29 "The righteous will possess the earth,And they will live forever on it", gives us hope of something better. How wonderful it will be when this Scripture is fulfilled and we can see Mrs. James again on an earth made new. To the grieving family and friends and the many students of Nita James, I extend my deepest sympathy. When we lose our loved ones in death, we may at time feel lost and alone. We may too appreciate the hug from a close companion but because of the present pandemic that may not be possible. But we always have a ‘hug’ from our Heavenly Father who is described as —“the God of all comfort — (2 Corinthians 1:3) He has promised to resurrect or bring back to life our loved ones, to enjoy life again, right here on a renewed earth. Acts 24:15 “... there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.” Psalm 37:29 “The righteous will possess the earth,And they will live forever on it.” Please look at this short video clip that answers the question: Is There Hope for the Dead? https://www.jw.org/finder?srcid= share
