Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of your loved Mr Lloyd Farnum. Death is never an easy thing to deal with. The pain and deep hurt that it bring to the family can seem unbearable. The reason for this is because our Creator Jehovah God never intended for us to die as Ecclesiates 3:11 says " He (God) has put eternity in their heart." We die because of our first parents disobedience to God ( Romans 5:12). The Holy Scriptures promise at Acts 24:15 " That there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and unrighteous." Yes in the future when the earth is cleaned up by our Creator he will bring persons back to life to continue enjoying life without pain, suffering, death and crime. Few things cause more stress or heartache than the death of a mate, relative, or dear friend. Death can feel like the most permanent and extreme form of loss. Faced with the unbearable pain such a loss brings, one who grieves may wonder: ‘How long will these feelings last? Will I ever be happy again? How can I find relief?’ I invite you to check the information on our website jw.org in the article “Help for Those who Grieve.”
